Bad news in the Paper

My good friend Robert the Polar Bear, came over to show me something the other day, his voice seemed to be much different than before, and he sounded upset and disturbed. He knocked on the door, and there he was standing there with a newspaper in his hand. He handed it to me, I read the title, "Fish Becoming Extinct?" I was shocked, I couldn't believe it, and it was very surreal to me. I kept telling myself "no this can't be right.” My family and I discussed this sad situation we have. We always had tons of fish; we even had a newspaper saying "too many fish, may cause a problem." That night we all had a very hard time going to sleep just thinking about what is going to happen in our future; no food. Between global warming and other problems in our world, now, we all have a big situation to worry about. We penguins in our society have to find a solution about this dire situation and fast. Other wise, we may be extinct in near future.

What kind of fish do the penguins prefer eating? Did they gradually start having less fish? If these fish disapear are there any other types of fish you guys could eat? Have you noticed a change in the climate where you live and has it affected you guys personally? Are there fewer numbers of penguins being born because there are fewer amounts of fish?

Robert here, I just want to tell you that your blog is fantastic. I know how you penguins feel, being a polar bear myself. I think you should tell us more of what is happening to all the fish and why its a problem for you.

i enjoyed reading your blog and think it is very creative. is there any possibility for the penguins or polar bears to adapt to this heat and perhaps evolve? maybe go into the possibility of natural selection and survival of the fittest?

Did your friend robert visit you or does he live near you? Because polar bears do not live in Antartica
